EI&C engineering for W.L. Gore & Associates GmbH fluoropolymer plant at Gendorf Chemical Park
Kreutzpointner-Industrietechnik designed the EI&C technology for the new W.L. Gore & Associates GmbH fluoropolymer production facility at the Gendorf Chemical Park. The Kreutzpointner Industrial Engineering division was able to successfully fulfil the order, thanks to their flexibility in accommodating the modifications and adaptations to the end customer’s processes which were necessary in the course of the project, and in completing installations for various domestic and overseas PU suppliers.
Burghausen chemical facility – "Nordwerk project"
Over a four-year construction period, process control system (PCS) cabinets for over 100 plant units were converted and commissioned in the course of the installation of a new PCS as part of.an extensive modernisation of a large Burghausen-based chemical company’s plant. The obsolete PCS, which was built in the 1960s, is being converted to a new Emerson PCS, in order to bring a total of seven production lines up to the current state-of-the-art and prepare them for “Industry 4.0”.
EI&C installation for new Rudolf Chemie GmbH production facility in Geretsried
Our Industrial Engineering division has won another prestigious customer in the chemical industry – Rudolf GmbH. The family-owned Group, founded in 1922, is headquartered in Geretsried (near Munich), but operates worldwide with more than 20 overseas subsidiaries and approximately 30 agencies. Rudolf's main area of activity is the development of textile additives and speciality chemicals. The company commissioned the Kreutzpointner Industrial Engineering division with the EI&C installation for a new plant at their Geretsried site. This contract was completed to the total satisfaction of the customer in just five months.
Electrical modernisation of Clariant cogeneration plant in Moosburg/Bavaria
The waste heat boiler for the new energy centre at the Swiss chemicals company Clariant’s Moosburg site near Landshut is equipped with around 2,000 pipes for steam generation, and weighs 40 tonnes. From December 2013 to February 2014, Kreutzpointner-Industrietechnik carried out the electrical modernisation of the cogeneration plant on behalf of the boiler manufacturer astebo GmbH.
Laboratory installation for University of Luxembourg “Cité des Sciences”
Our industrial engineering division was commissioned by WALDNER Laboreinrichtungen GmbH & Co, based in Wangen im Allgäu, for the electrical installation of a high-tech laboratory for the University of Luxembourg. Even though only three and a half months were allowed for this electrical installation, it still fully satisfied the high quality requirements of our client and the end customer.

Clariant AG cellulose–ethanol demonstration plant in Straubing
In July 2012, the Swiss speciality chemicals group Clariant inaugurated Germany’s largest cellulose–ethanol plant in Straubing/Bavaria. A team from Kreutzpointner’s Industrial Engineering division completed the entire electrical installation work for the 2,500 m2 demonstration plant, in just ten weeks.
EI&C technology for waste-to-energy plant
The main task of the South-East Bavaria Joint Waste Management Authority (ZAS) is to incinerate household and bulky waste generated in its the seven districts in the Burgkirchen waste-to-energy plant. This produces electricity and supplies steam and residual heat to neighbouring industry.
RAG natural gas storage facilities in Zagling and Nussdorf (Austria)
Natural gas storage has become increasingly important in recent years. This type of energy storage is one of the central elements of Austrian and European energy security policy. Elektro Kreutzpointner provided the general electrical engineering, measurement and control technology, process control system and the safety engineering for the construction of RAG’s natural gas storage facilities in Zagling and Nussdorf (Salzburg state).
