High and low voltage supply for the Augsburg Technology Center

Project description

The Augsburg Technology Center (Technologiezentrum Augsburg, TZA) is the heart of the “Augsburg Innovation Park". With around 12,000 m2 of usable space, it offers companies and scientific institutions the perfect research and development environment. During the design stage, great importance was attached to simple networking and communication in the building. A case for Elektro Kreutzpointner: in 2015, the Building Services Engineering department of Kreutzpointner’s branch office in Munich and Kreutzpointner’s Switchgear Construction division were commissioned by the Augsburg Society for Urban Development and Property Management (AGS) to provide all services related to high and low voltage installations.

The Swabian Chamber of Crafts invested a total of €39 million in the redesign of its vocational training and technology centre in Augsburg. Flexible rooms now offer the opportunity for temporary collaboration in the technology centre and facilitate joint projects in a neutral environment. Short distances between the lobby, laboratories, workshops, offices and meeting rooms support the exchange of ideas between TZA users.
