For BUHLMANN Group: building services engineering for central steel tubing warehouse

Project description

In 2016, the BUHLMANN GROUP opened a new central warehouse on the Lindach industrial estate in Burghausen/Bavaria with more than 8,000 m2 of floor space. With the new building, the company was able to significantly increase its storage capacity from 700 to 4,000 tonnes. The new BUHLMANN facility targets the chemical industry, which is traditionally strongly represented in southern Germany. With a storage capacity of around 55,000 tonnes, the BUHLMANN GROUP is one of Europe's largest stock holding distributors.

Elektro Kreutzpointner’s Building Services division was commissioned to provide the high and low voltage power supply systems. The installation of fire alarm, intruder detection, video monitoring and access control systems was also included. The Kreutzpointner Building Services Engineering team was able to complete the job within a short construction period of just under half a year.
